Americans mascot remains a mystery

ALLEN, Texas – The Americans are still on the hunt for their mascot. After accepting ideas from fans all year, the club is reviewing concepts before selecting the mascot’s identity.
Allen has chosen a company to create the final product. The next step in the process is finalizing the character. The new mascot will be revealed at the start of the season.
One idea in development is a sheriff figure with hockey stick guns. Another is a fuzzy creature in hockey gear.
Fans with any suggestions are encouraged to send their ideas to Kaitlin White at kaitlin@allenamericans.com by Friday, July 2. Drawings and ideas are accepted.
