Allen partners with Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship
ALLEN, Texas – The Allen Americans are partnering with Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship for Saturday’s April 17 contest of the Southern Conference Finals.
Equest, a nonprofit that provides therapeutic sports riding classes for children and adults with disabilities, was burglarized Saturday night. The thieves stole vital equipment and machinery used to transport horses and maintain the property.
To help raise money for the organization, the Americans are offering a special discount to those wishing to give back. To support Equest, fans can buy tickets starting as low as $9 a ticket with a portion of the ticket sales going directly back to the nonprofit. The Americans are also donating tickets to Equest clients through the Allen Americans Foundation. Additionally, Equest will have a booth set up at the game to collect donations.
Tickets can be bought by contacting Trey Boylan at 972-912-1000 or trey@allenamericans.com. Those wishing to support the nonprofit should mention “Equest” when ordering.
The Americans are tied 1-1 in the best-of-seven series against the Odessa Jackalopes. Saturday’s game will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Allen Event Center located in The Village at Allen.
